His ears are already bleeding with your blah, blah, and blah. Why not give your mouth a rest and try to think first of what you have to say rather than blurting them all out? Sometimes, less or no talk at all is a better and effective way of expressing what you feel. It makes boys feel guilty.

He calls you home; your mom says you are out with your best friends. He asks you if you wish to go on a three-day vacation with him, but you said you’ll check with your girl friends if they have made prior plans. Obviously, you have more time for your best friends. So, do not be sorry if he leaves you. You are a good girl friend – but not a girlfriend.
